As the fragrance rises through the Incense Reeds, it begins to shape the room around it changing its mood, its presence and the way the moment feels.
Choose the character that reflects who you are, or the one you wish to step into. Let it remain quietly in the background or allow it to define the entire space.
THE PLACEMENT
One Incense Reed is placed into the Ceramic Holder, where three differently sized openings invite different ways of using it. Created for Franoe’s Western Australian Sandalwood Incense Reeds, the holder may also accommodate other incense forms collected over time.
A small decision where it rests, how it stands becomes part of the composition.
WHAT REMAINS
As the incense smoulders, smoke moves through the air while the Crown gathers the falling ash below. What first appeared sculptural reveals its function, allowing the ritual to remain composed from beginning to end.
